Returns and Refunds


We will be happy to accept a return of any unworn merchandise within 30 days of the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (shoe box).

Returns must be shipped back with the shoe box inside of a protective mailing bag and/or a cardboard shipping box. DO NOTship back the shoes by taping the shoe box and placing the labels directly on there

Returns that are Refunded for Store Credit or for an Exchange will NOT be subject to a Return Shipping Fee. 

Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment Returns that are Refunded to your original payment method are subject to a $5 Return Shipping Fee which will be deducted from the Full Refund Amount. The Full Refund Amount is your Original Purchase Price.

If you incurred any shipping charges on your original purchase or any additional shipping charges are incurred in the return of your purchase such charges are not refundable as part of your return.

You may return the merchandise via mail or in person at our Pineville, NC location (Dan the Shoe Man’s Shoe Shop).

In person Returns, are not subject to the $5 Return Shipping Fee.

If by returning by mail – please send an e-mail to wecare@dantheshoeman.com to request a Prepaid Return Label and a Prepaid Return Label shall be e-mailed back to you promptly. In your e-mail, please indicate if you would prefer to return the merchandise by dropping the package at a UPS store or at a United States Postal Service’s Facility (i.e. a Post Office).

Once our store has received and inspected your return (usually within 24 hours of receipt) your Refund will be issued and you will receive an email confirmation that your return is completed.
